How Is a Dryer Like Life?

For years, I've used Bounce Dryer Bars in all my dryers. They were an inexpensive, long term solution to static and wrinkles. Sadly, those days are over as the company has discontinued them.

I hate change like this, but I'm looking at it as an opportunity to do some research into more environmentally friendly options than dryer sheets. Making dryer balls from roving (wool that hasn't been carded or spun) is my current front runner, with DIY dryer sheets being a close second.

As frustrating as change can be, it's a good time to review your practices and find ways to improve or adjust. Vacuum breaks? Look at new models or methods you hadn't considered. Car dies? Do you need two cars or will a bike get you where you need to go? You may end up replacing your loss with the same thing, but at least you know you've considered other ideas. While there's an unmistakable elegance in consistency, complacency has no room in an intentional life.
